As Canadians, we have the power to assert our economic independence—not through grand gestures, but by using our purchasing power to reinvest in our own country and support Canadian businesses.
Who’s behind Buy True North?
We’re a married couple, born and raised in Canada—one from small-town Ontario and the other from Newfoundland—now living and working in Ontario. We care deeply about keeping our hard-earned money in Canada and standing up to the threat of US tariffs. That’s why we used our own time and money to build this website. Staying true to our mission, we’ve made every effort to “buy Canadian” in creating it—from purchasing the domain and web hosting through Web Hosting Canada to committing to maintaining it with Canadian businesses. This is more than a website to us; it’s a way to fight for what we believe in.
